Seed coating & Root dipping

(For field crops where direct sowing is done through seed drill or dribbling)
Prepare 10% jaggery solution and allow it to cool. Care should be taken for it not to solidify. Sprinkle the above solution on seeds sufficient for one acre & mix. Broadcast 500 – 1000 gm of Shubhodaya powder on the seeds & mix thoroughly in order to coat the seeds. Allow Shubhodaya coated seeds to dry for 30 min. before sowing.

In case of transplanted crops, the roots of the saplings should be dipped in dry Shubhodaya powder before transplanting in the main field. It should be ensured that Shubhodaya powder sticks to the entire root mass.
